The Midwest Collaborative for Library Services recently announced a partnership with Third Iron that will provide access to BrowZine for a number of Michigan libraries. As they note in their press release, this is a “pilot program to investigate the feasibility of a direct marketing service for its members.”
MCLS quotes me as saying that I could not be more thrilled, and they are right. I’ve had the terrific pleasure of working with MCLS throughout my professional career, starting when when they were known as MLC, and it’s personally very gratifying to partner with MCLS on this great initiative. Everyone at Third Iron is looking forward to working with the Michigan libraries who are part of this pilot program and to use this partnership as a model of how we can work with other consortia.
